What if your life was a mirror?

Have you ever thought about this? Have you ever stopped to observe what happens outside of you when you’re in a particular mood? Give it a try and you will realise how the outside reflects the inside. The more worried you are, the more worries come to you, the more anxious you are, the more you experience anxiety-inducing situations, the more sad and depressed you are, the more you sink into events that amplify that state. And the opposite is also true: when you are in an expansive and joyful phase everything seems to get better and better. You can also observe this in the lives of others: those who have always receive more, and those who don’t have seem to constantly be denied everything.

This is not about injustice; we just need to understand that our life manifests itself within the context of precise laws linked to resonance and tuning. In simpler terms, each of us tunes in or hooks up to whatever outside of us manifests on a similar frequency.

Can you completely change what happens to you? No. Because your individual life experience manifests itself within collective patterns and certain experiences belong to your evolutionary plan, but you certainly have the freedom to choose at any moment how to react to what you find yourself facing, be these people or situations. And this choice of yours completely changes the way you live and learn from what you’re experiencing.

Every human being is endowed with the ability to think, feel and experience emotions, and through them we catalogue what happens to us through our "taste". But becoming aware of our emotions is only the first step. The second is learning not to be trapped into them

E-motion = energy in motion. And so it should be: energy that passes through us and allows us to learn to choose how to respond.

Feeling emotions is necessary to learn to discern and choose. And it is unrealistic to believe that human life should consist only of positive emotions. We live in duality and every experience has the full potential of the spectrum between the two polar opposites. It is the meaning we attribute to it that makes it positive or negative for us.

But what we should really learn to notice and manage is that the more an emotion has a low and dense vibration, the more this emotion absorbs and weakens our vital energy. Negative emotions such as fear, shame, jealousy, envy, depression and anger can take away a lot of personal power, a lot of serenity and a lot of life force. So indulging and residing in them for a long time denies us the possibility of experiencing anything else. It's like staying stuck in one point. Life goes on and we are caught inside the stickiness and discomfort they cause us. Remaining stuck in the emotions we feel is a huge limit. Even when they are positive emotions. Because we stop doing what is actually the true meaning of our physical life: continuing to expand our experience.

The important thing is to understand that you are not at the mercy of your emotions. You have the freedom to choose the emotional state with which you react to everything that happens to you independent of the nature of the event itself. And the more you manage to do this the more you realise how much it actually increases your sense of feeling alive, of feeling rich and feeling strong, because you give less and less power to whomever or whatever is outside of you to alter your state of internal well-being. This is a revolutionary switch. This how you bring your personal power back to yourself. And with that energy you can truly create amazing results or new experiences that your life will reflect back to you, just like a mirror.
