Precious Individuality
There’s a theme that has always fascinated me: the uniqueness of every living being.
It doesn’t matter if your genetic code belongs to the same family, your way of being yourself is different and unrepeatable. You’ve surely noticed this when comparing yourself to your siblings, if you have any, or even to your parents.
We are all individuals, meaning distinct beings, with a wealth of talents and perceptions that cannot be replicated or copied.
If we had grown up with an awareness that diversity is pure richness, we wouldn't waste years of our lives trying to resemble someone else.
But the society we grow up in does not aim to nurture our uniqueness. Quite the opposite: conformity is instilled in our minds and habits from the very beginning. Rules, goals, rewards, grades, recognition… we are trained to resemble so-called “successful” models, unnatural and artificial constructs, fuelling the fear of never being enough and the lack of self-esteem and trust in our own abilities.
Few escape this trap, perhaps those who naturally possess certain “rewarded” traits, but the price is still high: remaining stuck in models that rarely allow you to fully express who you really are.
When I get the chance to accompany someone in the discovery of themselves, and of the personality they’ve developed to conform to the rules of the game, my heart lights up.
It feels like entering a sacred space where so many things finally find their place and meaning, and the experience of one's physical existence takes on a completely new light.
It’s like tidying up a room full of things thrown around in chaos—things that hide what was always there, but had become invisible.
No one is lacking anything.
We are all fully equipped with what is most important, relevant, and necessary to live our life experience.
We simply need to recognise our inner resources and learn to use them in the most authentic way possible—dismantling all the "adaptations" we’ve built on top of our essence in an attempt to resemble someone we are not.
Unlearn who you’ve become, to return to who you are.
There are no A-list or B-list individuals, and all the cultural, social, and religious propaganda that leads us to believe in the superiority of some over others is a dangerous illusion, one that continues to produce cruelty, aberrations, and suffering.
Our diversity is an absolute value.
It’s an essential trait for growth, evolution, and expansion.
A world made of clones and copies is a stagnant world, one that cannot move forward, a world trapped in a loop. But life’s foundation is a spiral that creates cycles that never exactly repeat.
If you still doubt yourself because you’re used to constantly comparing yourself to others, listening to opinions and judgments from outside rather than interpreting and understanding your own deeply personal sensations, I promise you, there is another way.
A simpler, more fulfilling, more exciting way of living exists.
But it begins with self-knowledge.
Without a true understanding of your precious individuality, it’s hard to truly trust yourself.
And it’s right here that a real revolution can begin.
Not outside, but within.
One small step at a time, starting with the sincere act of listening to who you are, without filters, without constructs.
Your inner voice doesn’t shout, it whispers. But when you truly hear it, it will guide you with clarity.
In a world that often invites you to conform, choose to explore yourself.
In a time when everyone wants quick answers, give yourself the luxury of asking deep questions.
Who are you really, beyond your name, your role, your expectations?
What makes you come alive? What dims your light?
You’re not here to imitate anyone.
You’re here to be yourself, in the fullest, freest, most vibrant way you can allow.
And it is in your precious individuality that your greatest power lies.
